Cloud Picker Coffee Roasters
Created in 2013 by graphic designer Frank Kavanagh and corporate banker Peter Stzal.
Cloud Picker are definitely known for their distinct and unique packaging, commitment to sustainability and their incredible coffee. But all of that has come from hard work.
The name Cloud Picker was conceived when owners Frank kavanagh and Peter Stzal were on a trip to Northern Thailand. There, the pair visited a coffee farm in the Doi chang area, a mountainous region to which they went up through the clouds to get a look at the coffee pickers.
Cloud Picker are constantly going further in search of brand new coffees to bring to the market. Working with and investing in small producers further a field and making sure that their producers are treated more than just fairly.
Frank Kavanagh's graphic design discipline and talent definitely shines through and is reflected in Cloud Pickers packaging so much so that is has won Cloud Picker Design awards. From hand labelling products to focusing in on small details.
Peter Stzals's food background obtained from his mother, a passionate cook is reflected in the Cloud Picker seasonal coffee menu. Aswell as their cafe food offerings. Peter understands that its not overly expensive ingredients that make the food great but its the work and effort put into the preparation. The not cutting corners and the effort put in from the start. This is ethic is applied across Cloud Pickers Coffee menu and brand Aesthetic.
While roasting and operating out of stanaway drive in Crumlin, Co.Dublin, Cloud Picker also has its Flagship Cafe located at 42 Pearse St. Dublin 2.
Cloud Picker continues to thrive for better and more unique coffees every year.
